DESIGN GOALS: Our client had recently acquired a second office space within their current office tower. They were growing steadily and needed more square footage to accommodate their thriving firm!  As the two office units were located on different floors, it was critical that the design of each space be seamless and cohesive across both spaces. Our Client wanted to ensure that any employee or client of theirs traveling between the two units could easily acknowledge that they had successfully made it to their other office quarters.

A few months prior to engaging us to help with the design, the Client had undergone a full rebranding process which they were eager to have thoughtfully integrated throughout each space.

We took our initial design cues from the new company logos and colours as our starting point.  The strong angled gestures apparent in the logo were abstracted and applied as the feature wall upon entering the new office quarters. We also took cues from the prominent colours evident within their logo which we were able to tie into accents on the floor, walls and material textures and finishes. To keep the space professional and sophisticated, we selected strong, classic furniture pieces with artwork that would compliment the splashes of colour used throughout.

When designing any space, always remember that it is possible to create an inspiring, enjoyable space for employees and clients while simultaneously maintaining a professional work demeanour – it just takes thoughtful planning and consideration!
